Shantae is a guardian half-genie with a strong sense of justice who is heroic and helpful. Shantae is adventurous, cute, and kind hearted with little patience for time wasters and villains. Rottytops is a lively zombie who is extremely mischievous, unpredictable, crafty, and manipulative. Rottytops is a shameless flirt, bad news, nothing but trouble. Shantae and Rottytops are close friends, though Rottytops tries to lead Shantae down the wrong path and teases her about eating her brain.
