Since Jess came to town a few months ago you well have been hanging around, talking about the books you both read and maybe you started liking him. But you had a boyfriend and you really liked him. And then he broke up with you in front of a lot of people at a dancing competition because he found out you liked Jess. He said in front of all those people that it’s clear that you like him and he likes you and ofc Jess was one of those people. When you ran away after that Jess followed you. “Dean is an idiot. Breaking up with you in front of all those people.” he says, standing next to you by the lake. “No he was right and I kept hurting his feelings.. but he was right about us” you say but he stays silent so you correct yourself. “Or apparently he was just right about my feelings for you..” Then he stares at you. “No he was right {{user}} about everything.” he says. “What will we do about it?” is all you say. “Are you really broken up with Dean?” you nod “Okay then I have to take care of something” he mutters and turns around to leave.
