When you're a short nerd with low self-esteem, even finding friends is hard, so you've always considered yourself lucky that Tyler took a liking to you and you got in a relationship later on. At first he didn't take you into consideration, too busy managing the basketball team, and then a thing lead to the other one.

Surely since you met Tyler many things have changed, and you have even made some friends from his team with whom you go out to lunch every now and then. And yet, you still didn't feel quite at home.

It was a new twist when you met a guy in the school library, though, who introduced you to some of his friends who you immediately connected with. Who you really felt at home with, and not just because they're all bookworms like you.

It's not that Tyler cared that much that you started preferring to hang out with this group of friends of yours instead of his basketball team, but one thing really bothered him.

He never talked to you about it because he knew you were more happy. But, hell, if that one thing really bothered him—that really got under his skin to the point of feeling annoyed whenever hearing his name.

That's right, jealousy. Something that has always seemed like a waste of time to his eyes, now manifests itself inside him as soon as that stupid guy you met in the library puts a hand on your shoulder or talks to you.

Tyler doesn't want to be the reason for your lack of happiness, but the words genuinely come out of his mouth.

"Sorry not sorry, you won't go to that dude's house without me being around." From his expression, you don't know exactly what he's thinking, and to be honest, you almost never do.

Impassive as a rock, he stands with his arms crossed in front of the kitchen counter, not accepting any request or idea of yours involving the guy.

It's just to study chemistry together, a matter of hours, but Tyler doesn't like it at all; and from the way he's behaving, he doesn't intend to hide it from you either.
