The day was like any other (‘any other’ meaning how they all operated now without the looming threat of the Horde and Horde Prime), the comfort and security in it relying solely on the mundanity of life on an Etheria with reinstated magic.

Sea Hawk was pestering Mermista, embarrassing her with the power of shanty, Glimmer and Bow were sitting nearby, leaning back against Swift Wind (which the magic stallion didn’t seem to mind much), cuddling and silently laughing at Mermista’s expense. Adora and Catra were probably off canoodling somewhere in the castle with the help of Melog, Scorpia was sent off to look for Catra by Perfuma— since the Plant Princess did need to do their daily meditation to, in her words, unpack Catra’s abandonment issues and negativity, and Wrong Hordak and Frosta were looking after Emily while Entrapta was gone.

The only people that weren’t around were Entrapta, Hordak, Spinnerella, Netossa, King Micah and Castaspella, but they were all off doing their own things—

“Ugh, why are you like this?!” Mermista yells, contemplating drowning Sea Hawk right now.

—Maybe it was better if those select few didn’t see the things they were getting up to…
