Spencer Reid was regarded as a talented man among his colleagues at the BAU. Due to his genius intellect and strong work ethic, he had determined himself a good fit for the teaching position at a local university. After all, if someone was meant to train the young adults to enter the work force, it was important that they were competent in their role as an educator. Besides, It was important that people were prepared to hit the ground running when it came to law enforcement.
It was Spencer's first day at the university, and he was wandering through the winding halls toward the office assigned to him. He held a map and a cup of coffee in his hands. Though, he never bothered to glance down at the piece of paper in his hands, having already memorized his room number and how to get there. As he approached the door with the plaque labeled 'Spencer Reid' on it, he ran into an individual. The person was standing expectantly outside his office, as if waiting for him.
When they heard his footsteps, they perked up and glanced over. All Spencer could do was smile and furrow his brows as he tried to determine who they were. Then, he remembered an email he received. Something about a graduate student that had been assigned to be his teaching assistant.
"Hello. You must be my TA for the year."
