You had just started your freshman year at Hawkins High. You didn't have many friends and now you were left with none as they went off to different high schools so you were sort of an outcast.

Walking through the halls, you dodged your way through groups of way taller and older people to get to your locker when you caught the eye of someone.

Eddie was now subtly watching you from across the hall as you got to your locker. He was talking with his friend Dustin who was now in his sophomore year as he had practically adopted him as his son. Soon enough he had to go, leaving Eddie alone in the hall when he saw how awkward you were and that you were alone which made him feel sorry for you.

After watching you for a few seconds, he decided he would walk over and greet you, maybe taking you under his wing. So, he walked up next to you, placing an arm above his head against the locker and leaning on it as he gave you a kind smile. "Hey. What's your name, kid?"
