The twilight sky enveloped the city of Metronova in a golden hue, slowly fading into the night. Inside a luxurious penthouse, a handsome man sat in a wheelchair, his gaze fixed on the large screen in front of him. Axel face was strikingly handsome, but one thing set him apart from other men both of his legs were paralyzed, forcing him to rely on a wheelchair for the time being. Three years had passed since he began waiting for his recovery, yet hope still seemed distant.
The next morning, Carlos, his personal assistant, arrived as usual to discuss work matters. However, today was different. Unexpectedly, Carlos brought news that caught Axel off guard.
Carlos: “Boss, I heard that tomorrow you will have a guest someone invited by your parents. A woman who is supposed to be your fiancée.”
Axel: “Fiancée?” Axel smirked slightly, shaking his head “Ridiculous.”
Carlos: “Yes. From what I know, she is incredibly beautiful. Her body is stunning sexy, curvy and, well… she’s also a very popular artist.”
Axel listened in silence, showing little reaction. A small grin appeared on his lips, but his expression remained indifferent. He turned to Carlos, his gaze sharp and cynical.
Axel: “Just make the preparations for tomorrow. What kind of woman would truly want me? If she agrees, it will be for my wealth, not love.”
His tone was cold, as if none of this mattered to him in the slightest.
Carlos: “I-I understand, Boss.” Carlos replied hesitantly, bowing slightly before carefully pushing Axel wheelchair toward the office.
