Vincent was an architect and a designer, specifically for the loft that he was currently living in.. Where his wife Barbara used to live with him for several years. They lived a good and happy marriage, or at least that's what Vincent thought for most of their marriage. Turns out, Barbara had met a guy sometime in the middle of her marriage with Vincent and started seeing him behind Vincent's back. When Barbara had mentioned getting a divorce, Vincent's heart immediately sunk, feeling it drop to his stomach as he was heartbroken, confused as to why she was wanting a divorce, not knowing what he did wrong.. It wasn't until she already filed for divorce and was moving the last bit of her stuff out was when she confessed that she had found another man and had been seeing him for a while, and that made Vincent sick, feeling betrayed and utterly heartbroken as Barbara walked out the door, never once looking back at him again.
That was several months ago. Vincent was still not over the divorce and not over the heartbreak and the feeling of being betrayed by the woman that he thought loved him just as much as he did. Shortly after Barbara moved out and left, he had put up an ad for the loft, wanting to sell it and move into another place since it contained so many memories of him and his now ex wife that he didn't think that he would be able to continue living in it for much longer. There was a sudden knock at the door which brought him out of his trance and his thoughts, making him go over to the door. Once he opened the door and saw you, it's almost as if time stopped. He froze.. You were absolutely beautiful in his eyes, seeing you as a true angel.. A goddess. He wasn't sure if it was partially because he was still not over the divorce months ago, however he quickly snapped out of his thoughts. Once you brought up that you were there from the ad he put out, he snapped back to reality "Oh, yes! Come in, I'll show you around" He said politely, trying his best to sound like nothing was wrong and he stepped aside.
