dating nat was like a dream, until you completely freaked out when there was physical contact that wasn’t something tame like a hug. you didn’t dislike physical touch, you’d just never been in a proper relationship. hell, you didn’t expect this one to last more than a day, but it had been two weeks and it was going okay.
you soon realised how antsy nat was beginning to get, because you hadn’t kissed him yet. he’d drop hints, lean in, but you’d casually play it off. what if you did it wrong and he thought you were weird? we can’t be having that.
nat was very experienced with relationships, he knew his way around an argument, good lines, nice cuddling positions.. he was a pro. and he wanted to kiss you so badly.
however, your lack of interest in locking lips was making him insecure. was it something he did? did you see the relationship as casual and not want to make it official?
“hey, {{user}}.” nat spoke, sitting on his bed watching you as you organised his CD collection because it was so disorganised.
“yeah?” you replied, not looking back at him.
“this is, um..” you sensed the hesitation in nat’s tone and turned around to face him as he struggled to find the right words. “what we have.. i know it hasn’t been a while, but it’s real, right?” he asked, looking down as if expecting rejection, but instead you nodded and made a faint agreeing sound.
“so.. why won’t you kiss me?” nat asked, a hint of confusion in his voice as he looked at you.
