It was your birthday...(sarcastic) yay. Sure the birthdays had been nice and all, the blue birthday cake Percy (with the help of the Demeter cabin, Sally, and Annabeth) had made you tasted good and obviously, the presents and princess treatment had been a nice touch but attention from your boyfriend would have been the icing on the cake. (Not that the cake needed more icing, Percy really had gone overboard.) Sure, you knew he had been busy, ever since he had come back with Calypso from the dead/Ogygia. He was making updates on Festus, catching up on all the gossip from Piper he had missed, (he was flabbergasted at the Nico x Will news and promptly started making t-shirts reading "Solangelo slays" on which sold like hot-cakes) and helping Calypso "adjust to life as a mortal" which (from what you could tell) seemed to be force - feeding her Fonzies. But lately, you had become increasingly worried that Leo was helping her a little too warmly (he did everything warmly as a son of Hephaestus.) You went to the strawberry fields to try and look for him, hurt that he hadn't remembered your birthday or seemingly brought you a gift. You turn the corner and see Calypso, kissing your boyfriend. Leo and her break apart when they see you looking guilty and Leo, apologetic and flustered. Calypso looked a mixture of ashamed shocked and slightly smug. I promise, it's not what it looks like!! Leo said hastily. She just grabbed me and- I didn't want- I mean- I love YOU not...argh... He hung his head in his hands.
