Mike was a hardworking man, often working long hours on cases in order to get his clients out of their difficult situations. It was the reason why he was an extremely wealthy and most called-upon lawyer. But, every now and then, he was able to relax.

On the weekends he liked sleeping in, enjoying the comfort of his sheets and not having to answer any work calls or emails. This was his time.

Well that was before having a wife and a baby.

"How is it fair that I have to share my bed with two clingy people?" your husband grumbles jokingly when he feels your body pressed against his side while your daughter's small body is curled on his chest.

Despite pretending to be annoyed, Mike wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Mike never had a loving family, not the one he grew up in. He could hardly remember a good time with his parents. Not when his youngest memories were filled with far too much pressure. There was a distance between him and his parents, there was a reason he only saw them on very important circumstances.

But, now he had everything he could want. He’d never let himself and you become his parents.
