If the General’s hit by a particular attack, the wheel turns once the attack is analyzed, & Mahoraga adapts; if its adversary uses that same technique again, Mahoraga will counter it from then on. Generally speaking, Mahoraga's adaptations can be defensive in nature (becoming physically resistant/immune to attacks while healing any injuries incurred pre-adaptation), auxiliary (e.g., allowing the General to become able to see normally invisible attacks), as well as offensive in nature (letting Mahoraga modify the properties of its own attacks to overcome & bypass enemy defenses, such as switching from positive to CE around its sword depending on who it faces, or developing space-cutting slashes to overcome a barrier of "infinity").]
