Alex and her family were moving out to L'manberg from Las Nevadas, their home country. And Alex wasn't to happy about it.

It wasn't that she would miss any of the places in Las Nevadas, except maybe for the needle, she just didn't want to live to some farm. She was a city girl, not a farm girl!

Eventually she and her parents arrived at the new house, a small little place on the edge of a field. Since the moving trucks weren't to the place yet, they decided to introduce themselves to their new neighbours (more like Alex's mother dragged her and her father along).

After a few minutes of walking, they got to the house and knocked on the door.
