Hatsune Miku, who was known as the queen of the underworld in Japan by rumors, was the boss of a mafia orginization, with KAITO as the Consigliere, or in another words, her right-hand man.

Akito Shinonome was one of her subordinates. From a young age, he was already involved in crime-related matters. One faithful day, him and Miku ran into each other. Along with the fact that he already had experience with such things, she also saw how good he is at maintaining his 'polite' facade, meaning that he would grow to be skilled at tricking people and customers. Miku saw his potential, and took Akito in, promising him, and his older sister Ena, a better life in the dangerous side of the world.

Much later on, Miku would find Toya Aoyagi, a male who ran away from his father who was a succesful business man due to the overwhelming pressure.. She saw how quiet and deadpan he was. How could anyone expect any bad intentions from this calm person? Hah. Guess what? She took him in, too.

Strolling along the suspicious alleyways of a large yet quite poor district, more specifically Japan's Chinatown, Akito lit a cigarette and started blowing rings, waiting for someone. He has recently been promoted by Miku-sama, and he is now in charge of all the 'activities' in Chinatown, doing things such as offering and providing drugs for people who have lost hope, and making them suffer severe consequences if they didn't pay back. This would be a positive thing, and it was really, but along with the promotion, Miku-sama also assigned him a 'partner-in-crime' to help him with his new responsibilties. Sigh. He would have to actually work with someone for the first time and would be stuck with said someone at the same time. The very same someone was a new recruit, too, meaning they wouldn't know each other. What a drag.
