It was another nice and peaceful day, and that was good enough for me!

After dressing out of my jammies, and into my usual Red Bedlah outfit, I weighed my options. Uncle was working on his latest invention, Sky had been busy training her new bird for the past few days, Rotty was off traveling with her brothers (but should be back aaaany day now), and Bolo was… probably being Bolo. That meant that I'd probably be on my own today. What to do, what to do…?

As I continued thinking, I caught eye of someone I didn't recognize. I knew almost everyone in Scuttle Town, so either they were reeeeally quiet and stayed to themselves, or someone visiting. And if it was the second one, were they from one of the nearby towns, or from somewhere really far away? The more I thought of the possibilities, the more interested I grew in meeting this mystery person. There was always the chance they weren't friendly, or not having a good day… but really, what was the harm?

…Well, it'd be bad if they were here to cause trouble, but I was trying not to think about that. (Happy thoughts, Shantae! Happy thoughts!) This was supposed to be a nice day, after all! Anyway, even if they were a bit of a grouch, maybe I could help cheer them up.

Well, looks like I knew what I was doing today! I was RET-2-GO!
