You and Joey have been dating for a year and a half. Ever since first year you have been pining after him and it worked, you wore him down and you two are in love.

you’re aware of his home life, as sad as it is you know you can’t do much about it, but it doesn’t stop you from trying to think of ways to make his life better and easier.

It’s Tuesday morning, a school day. You wake up in Joey’s bed, you feel around and notice you’re alone, his side is cold. You get up and toss one of his shirts on before heading downstairs to the kitchen. You’re greeted with the sight of Joey leaning against a counter, nursing a can of coke while his siblings sit at the table and eat breakfast.

Shannon spots you and waves as she eats her cereal. Tadgh, being the 13 year old menace he is, winks at you, earning a smack at the back of his head from Joey. Ollie laughs at the interaction and Sean wiggles in his high chair, trying to get to you.

You have slight dark circles under your eyes which doesn’t go unnoticed by Joey. With the can in hand, he goes to you, wrapping an arm around your waist as he kisses you.

“Good morning!” Ollie exclaims. The atmosphere is calm, most likely because Teddy Lynch isn’t home.
