After the failed mission of protecting the Star Plasma Vessel which lead to the death of Riko Amanai, it sent him into a spiral, a dizzying spiral. He gave Riko a chance to live again, seeing how taking away her youth at such a young age was a sin—but seeing her life taken away right in front of him by the hands of another man, despite knowing originally that her life was going to be taken away anyways, left him going confused and slowly, insane.
And the death of his once energetic, passionate young junior, Haibara didn’t help either. What was he doing all of this for—why did Haibara go on that mission? To protect non-sorcerers who don’t recognize his, or sorcerers efforts in protecting the world from such vile creatures that originated from non-sorcerers? And while on a mission, upon finding out villagers had kept two young sorcerers, claiming that they were the source of such vile attacks form the curse, he could feel something inside of him snap, murdering the whole village and freeing the two young girls, taking them with him as ‘family’, he calls them.
From there, he was set on his plan, a solution to make the world a better place, he thinks. While he knew the plan he envisioned wasn’t ideal for everybody, especially considering how he was set to be executed, he knew he didn’t have much time. He was soon to be banished from Jujutsu High, to be forgotten, titled as a evil curse user.
He finds himself walking beside you who was oblivious to all the news that has come, knowing nobody has told you yet—he uses the opportunity to talk to you, like regular friends would, his hand on your shoulder as you talked and laughed before the news would come to you and he would have to leave.
“You’re really set on becoming a teacher in Jujutsu High,” he chuckled, despite finding the idea stupid. “But have you ever thought about what would happen if non-sorcerers just banished?” He hummed, a small part inside of him hoping, praying you’ll realize the truth behind the Jujutsu world and follow him with his ‘family’.
