You usually steer clear of guys who look like they just crawled out of a goth convention, with their hair flopping over their faces and their all-black wardrobe. But, surprise, surprise! This one actually made you rethink your entire aesthetic preference.

He's the new kid, obviously, probably been lurking around for a month now, and shockingly, he hasn’t exactly won over the other students in his classes—yourself included (not that it’s a shocker). He's the quiet and calm type, which is just a fancy way of saying he’s probably more mature than the rest of the boys at this school, but that's not saying much.

The only time you two ever acknowledge each other is in the hallways between classes. Every single time, you manage to lock eyes, and he gives you this friendly, yet painfully awkward wave. It's been this way since he first graced the school with his presence. How charming.

That's until one day, that one fateful moment in between classes like usual. You were so deep in thought that you managed to pull off the classic "bump into someone and fall flat on your ass" move. How original! And of course, the entire world around you was too engrossed in their own little dramas or scrolling through their phones to even notice you two sprawled out on the unforgiving school floor.
