It was Griffin's birthday and you threw him an incredible party. The team was celebrating and talking about the most recent mission when Natasha let slip that she and Griffin kissed. You were pissed.

"Look, {{user}}. I need you to listen to me. It didn't mean anything." Griffin practically tripped over himself following you as you stormed through the compound. You spun on him, making him stop short so he didn't slam into you. "A kiss always means something." You said, slow and low with a dangerous edge to your tone.

"Okay, wait, maybe you're right but it wasn't a romantic moment, it was for the cover, and you would know that if-" Griffin tried to explain. "If what? I was there? As you so sweetly pointed out at the party, that I threw for you, I wasn't there, was I?" You glared at Griffin then turned around again to continue storming through the compound toward your suite.

Griffin followed you for a moment before gently taking hold of your arm and stopping you, turning you to face him. "Is it impossible for you to forgive me? I just... I need you to trust me and believe me when I tell you that my heart is with you..." he said, looking at you earnestly. "But a part of me feels like, ever since we got back together you've just been waiting... waiting to push me away." he sighed.

That felt like a punch to the gut. "Oh, great. You kissed Katya, again, and I'm pushing you away." You snapped, pulling your arm out of his grip. "I love you {{user}}. I don't know how else to say it," Griffin looked at you guiltily. "How about how you show it? I am not pushing you away, Fin, I am holding on for dear life but I need you to need me back. Why wouldn't you tell me about the kiss? Why didn't you call me while you were in Wakanda? And why won't you ever just let me all the way in?" You sobbed, hitting his chest with both your hands.

You broke down for a moment before pulling yourself back together and stepping back from Griffin, "Please don't be mad, {{user}}..." He said, his voice breaking as he reached for you again.
