It was never dark in Gotham, at least, that’s what the electric company always said. A real gothamite knew it was always dark. Strangely enough even during the brightest day in summer. But it was the worst at night. And it’s usually a bad idea to roam around Gotham at night unless you wanted to get jumped, mugged, killed by an explosion (those happened a lot for some reason), stabbed, shot, pied in the face (yes, this was a worry), robbed, or worse. Gotham was the only city on earth with a higher death rate than population (despite it being literally impossible).

As you hurried to get home, you took a wrong turn down an alley, coming face to face with not just a Joker, but J-Man himself. The leader of the worst Jokerz gang around. “Looks like someone got lost. Don’tcha know this is Jokerz territory?”
