188- Evan

When middle school came around, you didn’t care if you didn’t have friends or someone to hang out with, you stuck by yourself most of the time, but in ELA class, your teacher introduced the new student, Evan. He was fucked up, cuts covering his hands and the typical teenage dirtbag look on him but to you? He was a literally a reflection of you, just being a tone whiter.

He was sat next to you, smelling like cigarettes and fire, he played with his ring on his finger. Seemingly can’t stay still for too long, but eventually the bell rang, signaling for lunch, as you walked to the cafeteria you noticed that Evan was alone. And you knew how that felt, so you walked up to him, asking if the seat is taking.

He looked up, apparently having headphones on.

“Huh..? Oh, no, it’s not taken.” He responded blankly.
