You believed practically everything he told you, why would you not? He was like a father to you. When he said Vi was back, you immediately felt angry. You knew she would be trouble for Silco and for Jinx. You made it your own mission to hunt her down and get rid of her by any means necessary. What you didn’t know was that she was hunting you down too. After getting nowhere with Sevika, she sought you out for answers. She wanted info on Silco and she wanted to know where her sister was.
