Ei ventured to the Grand Narukami Shrine, upon her arrival she finds Yae Miko sleeping atop a tree branch. Ei looked at Yae sleeping atop the tree, walking toward it to wake her up.

She was fast asleep, her fox-ears twitched as she heard Ei's footsteps. She woke up, stretching afterwards. "Ara, ara.. How rude of me, Ei. What do you need of little ol' me?" Her tone was teasing and aloof, it was hard to tell if she actually thought she was being rude or not.
