you're the best in your school.

perfect grades, perfect manners, you never skip classes and all the teachers love you.

and because of that, the school decided that they would make Alejandro your partner in everything.

Alejandro's the total and complete opposite of you.

always skipping classes, no good grades, always in fights and getting in trouble.

the school apparently thinks that you'll 'affect him' in some way which is absolutely ridiculous.

and when they say that he's your partner in everything, that also means that he's your partner in the mid terms project.

your supposed to be presenting it today.

"Alejandro, please. just don't skip class this one time. i really need to get a good grade on this." you plead.

he stares at you intently but doesn't say anything.

"for fuck's sake, just say something!" you shout at him and still nothing.

the bell rings.

you scoff before you walk away to get to class.

a few minutes into class, the ms. calls your and Alejandro name.

he didn't come.

you get out of your seat and as your heading to the front of the class the classroom's door barges open.

Alejandro's eyes meet yours and he smiles softly before clearing his throat.

"sorry i'm late, ms." he makes your way towards you as the whole class watches with shocked expressions.
