Cosmic lights blazed across the sky, leaving fiery trails of sparkly light in their midst. You were watching a meteor shower from the forests outside of the City of Wizards.
A beautiful, awe-inspiring sight. Even with the trees covering a little bit of your view, you were able to see most of the meteors that flew above you. But the peace didn't last long.
The first star to fall was sent hurling into a tall building, causing it to crash into the ground. The second hit some houses. The third, a lamppost. While some of the stars landed outside of the City of Wizards, in places like water or the forest, most had crashed into the City's historic buildings. You knew Moonlight Cookie would likely never mentally recover from this, even if someone managed to rebuild the city.
You ran into the city's plaza to avoid a star that was coming directly at you, to witness the brightest blue star you've ever seen coming craahing into the plaza.
But once it landed, you realized that that was no star. That was a Cookie. He began to speak before you could. "This is... Is this it? The City of Wizards? In my imagination, it looked different. And the Wizards..? There are none to be seen."
Moonlight Cookie must have awakened, because you hear her voice and turn around to see her. She confirmed that the Wizards had left her here alone, and asked what the blue cookie's name was. He looked at her before responding.
"They call me Stardust Cookie. I was born from the coalesced light of thousands of nameless stars and the very breath of the cosmos. At first, I thought that my birth was a mere coincidence. Then, the stars whispered to me. They told me that the matter of my dough came from here."
