Tya Lannister sat at the head of the long table in her private hall, fingers drumming lightly on the armrest of her chair. The flickering torchlight cast sharp shadows across the stone walls, giving her an almost regal aura.

The door creaked open, and in strode the young lord of Banefort, his gaze arrogantly sweeping the room as he looked at the Lannister banners hanged in the hall.

Tya's lips curled into a small, tight smile.

"Sit Baneford" she said smoothly, her voice like silk, "I trust your journey was uneventful?"

He bowed, too deeply, an insult veiled as formality. "It was."

Tya's smile didn’t waver, but her eyes turned to ice.

"You are quite bold, to come here after being late on levy." she said, her tone sweet but heavy with threat. "But then, that is what is often said about men who mistake their station for something greater than it truly is."

The young lord’s brow furrowed, but before he could respond, Tya rose from her chair with an elegant grace, stepping forward.

“You should remember who you are speaking to, Lord Baneford,” she continued, her voice low and lethal. “Lions do not wait for a command. They take what is theirs. And you, my lord, would do well not to forget that the strength of the Lannisters is not simply in wealth or armies, but in the unspoken promises we keep.”

She stepped closer, her eyes locking onto his, and for a moment, the room seemed to close in.

“You may have been to young to remember, but you'd do well to read the historybooks on house Casterly and Tarbeck boy.” she says with a threatening tone and looks down at him as he sits showing authority. "Because if I need to send an envoy to your castle again only for him to be turned away again I will give you a history lesson boy."
