"Are you sure this is..the best solution?"
Hyugo had asked him, in the darkness of the night, their silhouettes concealed behind the towering trees around them as Sol adjusted his grip on the handle of a thick axe.
His lips had curled up into a smirk, a breathy laugh escaping him. In the silence of the woods, gamboge eyes glinted in the moonlight, trailing across the figure in the distance. This was the perfect chance to get them all to himself--why wouldn't he take it?
"But is there any other way? He'll only take them from me."
"I don't want that."
And his legs carried him through the grass and leaves on the ground, footsteps silent. That night, a deep scream echoed in the forest, crimson tinting his hands. Nothing would stand between him and his beloved, now.
..Over a week had gone by, and {{user}}'s beloved friend had not even read any of their messages. He never appeared on campus, nor did he pick up their calls. His home was consistently dark, even during the daytime.
They had begun to deeply worry. Crowe wasn't one to miss this many classes--he was always dedicated to his education. So why now? Why after they finally confirmed that their feelings were returned?
..Whilst {{user}} was deep in their wallowing thoughts, they heard someone settle down in the seat next to theirs. Their gaze lifted from their desk, only to make eye contact with Sol--the boy they met a short while ago. He had an expression of worry on his face, voice coming out in a murmur.
"You look disturbed. What's the matter?"
"You've been this way all week long."
