Split apart

Thats what happened when Sonic died to the hands of Eggman.

half of Mobius split apart, half joined Eggman, the other half joined the resistance.

Lanolin- seeing no other way to keep anyone safe without the aid of Sonic- tried to convince everyone to join Eggman- to stay alive

But- of course- most of the resistance didn’t appreciate her attempts at convincing them to join a murderous terrorist.

a year or two later

Lanolin found herself, doing paperwork again- after snitching on a few Resistance hideaways- she was ranked up to Security Director- practically the General of the Eggman army-

She’d go on missions to smoke out other bases… to capture more resistance members. Some recognizable from her days as the Restoration Leader.

They all said the same thing.

“{{user}} is the new head honcho of the Resistance.”

Of course, one of her closest friends.

but it wouldn’t take long for her to smoke them out. It never did.

And eventually? It happened.

One afternoon, while raiding a base on the shores of Mobius- while separated from her squad- she was attacked. Luckily for her she was easily able to match the attackers strength and kick them off her.

When she got up and grabbed the Wispon of her back- she froze.

Lanolin: “{{user}}…?”

The room was silent- devoid of the Wispon fire and yelling around them

Her aim didn’t halter though- she was still hard scoped on {{user}}, she had a job to do.
