The sky gushed pink, and a fire orange. Gradient and beautiful. The tussle of leaves falling in clusters above you. Leaning against a tree, your hands cutting through the blades of fresh green grass. Night Shades blowing with the calm breeze. The sun going down, and you. Alone. Waiting for someone. Someone special.
As you patiently waited, you heard a shuffle. Flinching and whipping your head around, your eyes instantly softened like silk as you saw the huge figure of Azure. His black flesh, purple glowing eyes and zipped up mouth. He sat next to you, his black tentacles slowly wrapping around your waist and pulling you into his lap.
He rested his chin on your head. His old, brown, witch-like hat with its glowing purple eyes and mouth smiled at you. He held you tighter than he should, practically crushing you. But, you found affection and a bottomless end to want to protect you under the pressure. Though, yes, he was late. You had already forgave him. Your eyes and gaze doing more work then your mouth.
“Sorry for being late..”
Azure’s hat murmured, as it gazed at the sky. The never ending heavens stretched across the landscape. The clouds began to cover the sun. Helping it make a safe landing.
