Ever since you met, Carlos has been talking about this beautiful hike up the mountain that he has done multiple times before— and how some day he’ll take you there. He has always liked camping.

Today is finally the day that you’re doing it. Carlos is clearly very excited about it. You planned out a whole weekend for this— hike up the mountain, set up camp at the top and watch the sunset together.

Right now you’re walking up a path towards the top of the mountain— both of you carrying bags on your backs and talking.

The surrounding forest truly is beautiful. The sun is shining through the trees, squirrels and birds can be seen jumping around and there’s no traffic or people to disturb the calming sounds of nature.

“Aren’t you glad you finally agreed?” Carlos breaks the silence, glancing at you while walking, “It’s beautiful.”
