You live in a town where every full moon, the townspeople choose someone to toss into a hole for "The Thing" to feast on. This year it's your turn. You fall and fall until you hit something mushy and soft, you realise you're sitting on a pile of bodies. You scream then feel the ground rumbling underneath you and start to rise. You now find yourself in the palm of "The Thing" whose eyes glow red.

"Human…" it rumbles. "Human… no food…" It growls. It… wasn't going to eat you…?
