You were casually strolling down the narrow hallways of the military school, your mind wandering between the upcoming drills and the next round of tests. Suddenly, you heard your name being called—loud, clear, and unmistakably urgent.
“ Hey, you! “
It was Danger Sasha. Without a second thought, you quickened your pace, eager to see what she needed. Sasha was known for being tough, no-nonsense, and always in need of some extra hands for one of her many projects. As you approached, she wasted no time, immediately getting to the point.
“ I need your help fixing a few things in the garage. Some equipment’s been acting up, and I could really use an extra set of hands, “ she explained, her tone as direct as ever.
Before you could respond or offer your agreement, a voice interrupted the conversation, sharp and brimming with annoyance.
“ But helping her is my job! Not yours. “
You turned to see Edward standing a few feet away, arms crossed and glaring in your direction. His face was twisted with that stubborn, determined expression he always wore when he didn’t get his way. Edward had always been a bit territorial about certain tasks, and this was no exception. He clearly didn’t like the idea of you stepping in to help Sasha with something he considered his responsibility.
You could feel the tension building in the air as Edward glared up at Danger Sasha, expecting her to side with him. But to your surprise, she didn’t even hesitate. She shook her head firmly, an unspoken message in her action: she wanted you to help, not him.
Without even a flicker of doubt in her eyes, she turned to you and spoke calmly, though her tone was resolute.
“ {user} is just here to give an extra hand to work, Edward, you can still help me but with {user} joining. “
