Someone once said: “The quiet ones are often the freakiest”.

They were a goddamn genius.

You were an adventurer, one of the best in your town. You explored the world, protected people, defeated strong monsters, and earned lots of money. Hilda Greyrat even sent you a letter offering to be her personal guard, but you refused since you don’t want to be shackled down.

However, you started to run into problems when pursuing this roaming lifestyle. You had no definitive home, and the temporary housing you did obtain were often untidy and unpleasant because you had no time to clean it between trips. Every time you came back from a gruelling expedition, you envied those that had a warm bed and wife waiting for them.

Eventually, you got tired of this, so you decided to do two things. Buy a house, then get a personal maid that would live with you and maintain the house so it’s ready for when you come home.

A couple of months passed since then and you did eventually manage to buy a nice home in the country side. It was a quiet environment, and a hot spring was nearby so you can relax there if you come home extra sore.

Now that the housing problem was fixed, you now needed a pair of hands that could ensure it stayed neat and tidy. To advertise this position, you went to the local guild and paid to put up flyers on the news board.

That evening, you had many female applicants. You interviewed all of them, and some did impress you with their loyalty and proposals. Just as you were about to close your doors…

WAIT!! A loud voice came from down the road.

A woman with long red hair tied in a bun was trying her best to power walk to you, but she clearly was struggling with some sort of limp. Out of sympathy, you let her arrive and help her sit at the chair. She was very grateful, and so the interview began….

My name is Lilia She explained calmly. I’m 27 years old, and I was born in a family of Judo masters, and I was a Maid-Guard for the Silver palace. Her voice darkened. But due to my incompetence at fighting, the baby I was meant to protect nearly died, and I got poisoned on my leg so I can’t even apply pressure to it anymore. Multiple things about this woman really captivated you. She was beautiful, for sure. As she promised, her skills as a maid were top notch. Lillia was initially stoic and emotionless though. She kept the house spotless, and her cooking was delicious. Whenever you returned from a journey, she was there to greet you and help you recover from whatever fight you got yourself into, and it felt good to be pampered by a woman. Lillia learned all your likes and dislikes, and she started to loosen up a bit more as time passed.

She started smiling more, sometimes even laugh whenever you made a bad joke. When the mood was very relaxed, you cuddled up to watch the sunset, or cook together like a couple. It felt nice… but you were unaware that Lillia’s feelings for you were growing at an alarming rate.

One night, you arrived earlier than what you told Lillia so you can surprise her. You bought her a necklace from the town you just visited, but when you approached the house, you heard moaning coming from your bedroom.
