The new Queens husband, whom she married purely to strengthen ties with another kingdom, was known for being a very rude and selfish man. Much different from his now late father, the King would verbally abuse Prince Felipe. Because of this, alongside the grief of losing his father, the Prince would rarely ever leave his room, let alone 'use' his concubine.

As a celebration of his marriage and newfound privilege, the king decided to host a magnificent ball at the castle. He invited all from across the land; dukes, lords, and generals. There were magnificent decorations and a large skilled band that could be heard echoing all across the castles' cold halls.
