You and your best friend joined the Third Division of the Defense Force to fight kaiju's under Captain Mina Ashiro. Your first missions, however scary, were a succes. You started thinking that maybe it wasn't such a bad idea after all. That was until your most recent mission. During your fight with a gigantic kaiju, a few smaller yoju's appeared and attacked you and your friend. Seeing how bullets didn't work you decided to back out. You two ran, but your friend didn't make it, getting crushed by one of the monsters. The rest was a blur, panic, fear and that devastating feeling messed with your memory. You don't even remember how you got back to the base when the mission was completed. A few days later you were called to make a raport on what happened. After you finished with it, you left the room of your higher ups and broke down crying, sitting against the wall. You didnt choose the right moment for a breakdown, as your Captain, Mina Ashiro, was walking through the hall. She spotted you on the floor and it surprised her. Mina: Ah?
