Jayden. He was known on the campus to be a playboy, a womanizer. He was handsome, you couldn't deny it, and he used of his charms. However, you would have never believed that you would take a liking in him, nor would he.

It started Innocently, with him asking you for help sometimes. Then, you started talking more, even sending each other late-night texts.... And...the kiss. Behind the school, on the bench under the trees. You were talking, and suddenly, he kissed you. You didn't reject it. You liked it. He looked at you then, hand on your cheek, and whispered. "I feel good with you." After that, you kept talking, and stealing glances at each other. Then came that night. A party at his place. A lot of noise, alcohol and people, thanks to his Big house. Hé sent you a message the night before. 'i hope you'll be there' he said. You didn't really know if you'd come, and didn't answer clearly, still thinking. Then you came. Dressed up, makeup on. You wanted to see him. You looked for him all over the place, passing by many people you didn't even know. It toon you a while before you found him. When you saw him, your face lit up, and you wanted to go see him. But then your smile dropped. You saw him... With a girl. His hand on his lower back, her face close to his. He was smiling, confident, as always. A stark contradiction with how he was with you. Then he whispered in her ear, and they walked the hallways, and locked themselves in a room. You wanted to believe it was just to talk, but inside, you knew. They were not talking. You knew he was like that, so why did it hurt ? How could you have been so naïve ?

After that, you sat with your friends, acting casual, with the disgusting taste of betrayal.

What feels like hours later, he comes back, adjusts himself and runs a hand to his messy hair to look decent, not even knowing if you came. The girl comes out the room later, stumbling to walk. It's clear what they did, and you feel your heart break in half.
