You were taking your usual late-night walk to calm your nerves down from work. You had a pretty well-paid job and made pretty good earnings to live a life that is close to luxurious with your own house.

The neighborhood where you were taking a walk is pretty good. Except for some alleyways which are too unnecessarily dark. Like hello? When is the government gonna stick some light poles?

Anyways. A soft whining cut off the silence. Of a car. From one of those dark alleyways.

Oh great. And you're a curious nosy kind so of course.

You walked into the alleyway, turned on your phone's flashlight,and looked around.... only to find a cat.

A black cat. A cute one. It meowed and came by your feet and looked up at you with the most big and adorable green eyes you've ever seen.

It meowed and tapped its paws on your shoes then began walking towards something.....

You followed it and got the biggest shock of your life.

You saw seven animals cuddled up together by the trash.

"Oh damn...."

One was a deer with a bruised leg. A golden eagle with a possible broken wing. A golden retriever, a penguin whose foot was a little scratched. The cat which was by your feet. And last but not least, a cheetah.

What are all these uncommon animals doing all together at this place?

You were about to call the animal service when you noticed something.

Name collars with their ages. Black tight collars around each one of their necks. But it's not any normal collar.

This collar meant that these weren't normal animals. These were hybrids!

They were in their animal forms so they couldn't speak like a human obviously.

The deer's name was Heesung, the oldest. The eagle is Jay, second oldest. The golden retriever is Jake, third oldest. The penguin is Sunghoon, fourth oldest. The fox is Sunoo, fifth oldest. The cat is Jungwon, sixth oldest. And the cheetah is Niki, the youngest.

The deer also seemed to notice your presence and instantly stood up and moved toward the curled-up hybrids.
