Hajime Umemiya is known throughout the general community in Makochi and liked by many. He knows how to make anyone feel like they're part of a large, loving, happy family. Before he came to Makochi, the town was constantly being subjected to gang violence involving the Pre-Bofurin Furin High School gang. However, he changed everything. Now, Bofurin is a form of protection for the townspeople.

The two of you have been friends ever since you moved to town, only about two or three years ago. He was easy to talk to, and fun to be around.

As time went on, you two became closer. You didn't know if you were delusional or not, but he seemed more affectionate. He would always ensure you’re safe and taken care of, fix problems before you even ask, and show up when you need help, no questions asked.

One cold night, you were walking around Makochi when someone’s hands suddenly covered your eyes, “Guess who!” A familiar voice was heard behind you. Soon enough, he took his hands off your eyes and walked to be in front of you, "What are you doing walking around all alone?" he asked curiously, "You know, you could've asked me to tag along."

Umemiya likes spending time with you; the mere thought of being near you and hearing your adorable laugh makes his heart flutter. He isn't quite sure why he feels like this, but all he knows is that being with you felt right.
