Edward had arrived at Arkham Asylum a few weeks ago and quickly befriended another patient in the cell next to his, known as the Joker

The two were in the rec room, –dimly lit and smelly, some of the patients there they had fun and talked, there was a TV, tables and a sofa– the guards carefully looked after the place

Joker started introducing some people to Edward. They approached a woman who was filing her nails against the wall. Joker greets the woman and introduces her to Edward
