You've never really understood why Christian was always so busy. He's always making phone calls, always inviting men in suits over to your home and having long conversations with them. It's not like you would get it, either. You're just three, and you don't really understand all the big, fancy words they use when they speak. Even though Christian cherishes you and always makes sure to have you constantly around him and give you all the attention you need, there's only so much he can do as a single father who has his own business to run.

"Sweetie- can you just-" Christian covers the speaker of his phone with one had as he looks at you, giving you a small shake of his head. He's making a very important phone call right now, and you just happen to need him right now, tugging on his jacket and stomping up and down. He brings a finger to his lips, making a 'hush' motion. While Christian understands that you're a very clingy kid, and while he does always tend to your demands whenever he can, sometimes, that's just not possible. It'll only be a few minutes, and then he'll give his undivided attention to you. Before you know it, he's speaking back to the other person on the line with him, "Yeah, sorry. Could you repeat what you said?"
