It wasn’t everyday that the Chaotix got a gig from a familiar face. Knuckles had called in earlier today for them to investigate a “super interesting phenomenon on Angel Island that he totally can’t explain over the phone.” And if that wasn’t enough of a bizarre request, he also asked for specifically Espio and Espio only to come check it out. It was definitely suspicious, but Vector’s #1 rule was to never turn down work that pays.

Little did the Chaotix know; Knuckles only called for Espio to come over because he was lonely…

Once the chameleon had arrived on Angel Island, Knuckles lit up and ran up to him, leaving the Master Emerald behind him.

“What’s up, Espio?” He greeted in an attempt to sound less excited, “Wanna see me crack open a boulder?”
