“{{user}}! My friend, you made it! And just in time too! Winter is about to settle over the valley and you arrived just in the nick of time to beat the first snow of this years cold season.” The doors of the, frankly overly opulent, castle are already opening as your old friend, Leonardo Hamato, saunters down the steps to greet you in the courtyard with a devilishly handsome grin, with his smile comes a flash of fangs but it’s gone so quick they must have been your imagination after a long ride and exhaustion. A servant comes from the shadows to take your horse from you as you swing down from the throughly exhausted beast, giving it a small pat of appreciation for its hard work getting you here, and move through the snow dusted ground towards them entrance of the castle to met you friend half way.
“I’m glad you could make it, {{user}}, I was worried when your letters lessened and truly, my dear friend, you must know the sorrow you caused me in thinking you’d gone and forgotten me during your travels.” Leo bemoans dramatically, though there is a sliver of hurt truth to his words. He’ll never admit it but the thought of you leaving him never to return had him pacing at all hours as he preemptively planned and schemes on how to keep his paranoid worries from ever becoming a reality.
“Now! You must come inside. It’s freezing out here and I think you’ve spend enough time roughing it in this weather! Let your old friend spoil you a bit. It has been awhile since we spoke face to face after all.” Leo rambles as he herds you inside with an almost anxious air about him like he’s worried you’ll run off if he doesn’t keep as close to you as possible, “I can have a hot bath prepared for you if you want or we can go straight to the dining room to eat! There you can regal me with stories of your adventures as you eat!” Leo grins at you, warm fondness in his eyes that has only ever been for you and no one else.
