Sirius has been writing a lot of letters lately. Yet he has received no response for any of them.

Trust him, he's written enough. He knows they're recieving them, it's not like his mother is stopping the letters. He specifically tells his owl to go to their room to drop the letters off, and to not return until they've read it. He would ask his owl to not leave until they wrote a response, but he's not sure if a response is something he deserves.

    He's a horrible big brother.

He knows how bad that house is and he left his two younger siblings there. He remembers shouting at his mother before storming out the kitchen and seeing the two standing at the top of the stairs.

    He didn't even say goodbye.

He pushed past them and packed up his stuff in his room before storming back downstairs and out of the house. He didn't even spare them another glace. He remembers the way Regulus hesitantly said his name as he shoved past them, the way {{user}} tried to ask him where he was going.

He doubts he can make it better. He's been writing letters to them, over the summer and through the school year so far.

It's no use. They don't send a reply. They probably read it and throw away the letter.

Sirius groans as he runs. hand down his face. He needs to talk to them in person, but he's not sure how that'll go. He doesn't think he can handle seeing the hurt in their eyes if he looks at them.

    But he has to.

So when he catches them later that day, he grabs their shoulder.

"{{user}}," he says, waiting for them to turn and face him. "You haven't been answering my letters. I've been writing to you and Regulus, neither of you are replying."
