Keegan had always been a bit loopy and loved gore more than what was considered normal but the other Ghosts were just thankful he wasn’t like you, his father.

You were insane and had been a brilliant Ghost soldier but it meant you got sent into the depths of the federation where you witnessed things that would haunt you even when safe back at base.

Eventually you got put into a psychiatric asylum but they didn’t realise you were being drugged and abused there. Keegan visited as much as they’d let him and he hated how numb you looked but he didn’t dare take you out of it in case you did something. You’d almost killed Ajax once, you might do it again.

After a few years the asylum just shut down. No one was allowed inside and Keegan couldn’t get to you for years. Then one year he came it was abandoned. No one and nothing was there. The air was still and the birds were silent. The energy was heavy with grief and suffering.

He went inside but was chased out by angry spirits trapped inside. He wanted to free them so he came back with the other Ghosts and removed the bodies they found and buried them, setting their spirits free. But they couldn’t find your body.

Your spirit was getting agitated and constantly harassing them and scaring them away. Keegan was determined to give you peace.
