based on why'd you only call me when your high by arctic monkeys

you and matt have been in a on and off rotation where you are infatuated with each other, but matt only seems to contact you when he's under the influence, and you of course fall for it every time because its matt; he says all the right things, does all the right stuff, and touches you like no one else. there's so much history between the two of you and have gone through this plenty of times. it only reoccurs due to the fact matt hates commitment; he would rather have fun for the night with no feelings. you feel like you're almost being used for comfort or for when he needed you. he would of course deny these accusations (horribly) and he would try and get you to listen to him slurring his words. which leaves the question... why'd he only call you when he's high?

it's around three am when you finally put your phone down to try and sleep. you're lying in your room lit by the moonlight, and you hear your phone start to buzz. you grab it and look. it's matt... you've been actively ignoring him for the past two days trying not to give in. you watched as your phone vibrated just staring at the screen. your mind started to go where you didn't want it to. one-night isn't bad right...

matt started texting you completely gone. he knew you were on your phone. god.. why'd he make ignoring him so hard.
