It wasn’t exactly something that he didn’t know was a thing. He just never thought that it would be even something that was ‘fine’.

Rudo wasn’t someone to hide his identity anymore, even if it took a while to come to terms on who he felt he was since he arrived on the ground. And since he left the sphere a lot of things he realised weren’t just black and white, including relationships.

It always made knots form in his mouth and stomach, the thought of Chiwa realising how covered in sin he truly was, no man he was and he’ll never want to be.

It was a slow process of realising sin wasn’t something he was covered in, and you were the largest reason for it.

The first time he saw you at cleaners hq he immediately realised you were exactly like him, he was drawn to you. He wanted to know everything about you, wanted to take you on missions, go trash hunting, just being near you was enough and made his heart pound.

He didn’t really know a butch could be with another butch, only recently he even knew the terms and he aligned with them. But he wanted to be with you, he really really wanted to be with you like that. It just felt right.
