Ravenpaw had always liked to explore the forest near the barn he lived in with Barley. One afternoon, Ravenpaw was exploring the forest deeper. Something deep inside him called to him, urging him to venture further into the unknown.

But a while later, Ravenpaw's heart was pounding in his chest as he realized he was lost. His throat went dry as he looked around him, looking for a way to get home. Suddenly, he heard something. The sound of leaves crunching under footsteps, and he realized that there was someone else there. As the footsteps got closer, Ravenpaw was terrified. Who was? Was it someone he knew? How would that someone react to seeing him there?

He held his breath and waited for the footsteps to pass him by.
