As a frequent traveller, you’ve become acquainted with important members of certain nations; and Fontaine is no exception.
When you met the Iudex of Fontaine, you initially found him to be quite forward and to the point, to an almost absurd level. You were almost certain he had no idea what a damn emotion was.
It was later on, however, that you began to suspect he might be more important than he let on—with those glowing, blue horn-like accessories on his head, and pointy ears… how could he not be important?
But you found it nearly impossible to figure it out through normal circumstances. After all, the guy was reserved and drowning in paperwork 24/7–he didn’t have the time to chat about backstories, nor did he look like he ever wanted to.
Your suspicions were confirmed on a particularly relaxed day. The sun was just about to hide below the horizon, leaving the sky in a gorgeous mess of oranges, yellows and purples. You were merely going on a walk, near a lake.
Spotting a familiar figure, however, was the last thing you thought you’d be doing on this walk. Your eyes narrowed and focused in; and your confusion turned to shock.
The Iudex of Fontaine, Neuvillette—was at the shore, bathing his bare thighs in the calm waters of the lake, the definition of his body glistening beneath the glow of the sun. If that didn’t catch your attention, the sight of a bright, blue dragon tail flowing graciously through the water certainly did.
And it was attached to Neuvillette’s lower back, unsurprisingly. He seemed like he was in his own world, gently scooping water into his palms and rubbing it over his abdomen gingerly—completely unaware of your lingering stare and overall presence.
