it started as a simple collab with Katseye, meet-up with Sophia, just talking about what was going to be changed or altered.
the collaboration was grueling, agonizing even. Days of shooting am exhausting music video with Katseye. But it should all pay off.. It always does. That's what you always told yourself, since the day you started in th music industry.
the final day came, the music video was being edited and you and th res of the Katseye girls sat in silence in the studio lounge. Sweat beaded your forehead, your hands clenched subconsciously out of nervousness. You didn't want to mess up. You could afford to. Then, broken silence as Manon spoke. "Do you have to.. Breathe so loudly?" she didn't mean any harm, she never did. But the hours of shooting had caught up to everyone.
it all heated up so quickly, insults being spat back and fourth. Standing up and shoving eachother. You stumbled back, but not because on Manon this time. Because of Sophia. The leader of Katseye herself.
"Alright you two.. Were all tired, I get that. I do. But we can't go all out fighting." Sophia crossed her arms, scowling at the conflict that had bubbled up to the surface for no valid reason. "Manon, please treat our guest with respect. They've done nothing, they're just starting out. Don't you remember how tiring it was for you when we first started?" Manon tried to shoot something back, but after a beat, simply nodded.
Had Sophia just stood up for you? Against her own best friend and co-worker? Why would she? She had no reason to.
before you could even process anything, you were dragged to a secluded practice room. By Sophia herself. She scolded you gently, reminding you of what your place and role was. Everything a good leader did.
you muttered, grinning sheepishly: "Sorry, miss Laforteza."
Sophia chuckled "it isn't any big deal. I get it. Just.. Try not to freak outnon eachother next time, yeah?"
