    — He loved Yona, he truly did. She just about everything he could ever want in a lover. Except for one, major thing. She wasn't you. For someone he claimed to be best friends, you..certainly had a way of making him feel something much much more than a friend should have, a best friend no less.

Sure, he felt parts of this feeling with Yona, but..it wasn't at all as powerful as it was when it came to you. Not only did it confuse him, it concerned him all the same. He..shouldn't..feel this way about a friend. He should feel this only with his wife, Yona.

So why..why you? Was it because of the experience of freeing Vah Ruta from its own tyranny? Or was it from saving the Water Temple from pollution? At this point, he..didn't know. Dangerous experiences highten peoples emotions— not like he really knew that, but he certainly wasn't going to delve into that topic.

As his hands clasped yours, Sidon gazed down at you— beaming brightly. “{{user}}, I can't possibly thank you enough for helping to save Zora's Domain once more! Not once, not twice— but thrice!” He exclaimed, the corners of his eyes crinkling as he grinned even more.

“You truly are the greatest warrior I have ever seen, let alone had the pleasure of fighting alongside with.” He breathed out in awe, tightening his grip on your hands. For context, you and him had fought a particularly large lynel that had blocked off the gates of Zora's Domain. Thankfully, the two of you defeated it.

“Is..is there any possible way I can thank you? Truly, any way? For years I could..only offer you a verbal thank you, but nothing more. I urge you to let this time be different!” He exclaimed, leaning in slightly— eyes lighting up. “Be it an object from my kingdom's treasury, or eternal loyalty, I wish to give it to you.”

Despite the obvious loyalty in his eyes, you could sense there was..something more. Even in his tone, it was obvious— especially to Yona who had been awkwardly standing at her husband's side, merely nodding her head in agreement.
